Instructor - Henry Zhou

Henry brings a proven track record in China, having taught and coached across various equestrian clubs and competitions. His wealth of experience, dedication, and passion for equestrian sports make him a strong addition to our team.

Throughout his career, Henry has guided riders to success in both assessments and competitions. While at Shanghai’s Songsheng Equestrian Club, several of his students passed the German Equestrian Federation (FN) Level 8 assessment. His riders also excelled in events such as the Songsheng Cup, where he himself placed 4th in the 100CM and 6th in the 120CM jumping classes. More recently, under his coaching at JAY'Ranch, students achieved excellent results in rider assessments by the Chinese and French Equestrian Federations, despite the constraints of COVID-19. His coaching culminated in victories at the Shanghai Sports Games and the Chongming Ai Jiu Yangtze River Delta Equestrian Open.

Henry’s coaching journey began with the Zhejiang Equestrian Team, where he trained riders for the Zhejiang Provincial Equestrian Games—one of whom placed 8th in the Individual Men's Jumping category. In 2019, he joined Songsheng Equestrian Club in Shanghai, further honing his skills in rider development. He later spent three years at JAY'Ranch, working with both teenagers and adults, and successfully led a team to compete at the China National Youth Games, gaining invaluable experience at the national level.
