Instructor - Nadia Chen

Nadia is a Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) certified Coach and Jumping Judge. She is also Stage 3 riding certified by the British Horse Society (BHS). As a competitive rider, she has trained in countries such as UK, Holland and Germany, and as well as represented Singapore in SEA games on multiple occasions over the past 20 years.  

Nadia adopts an extremely holistic and collaborative approach to training, and focuses on the overall well-being of the horse and rider as a single unit.

As the founder of Perfect Stride (www.perfectstride.sg), she promotes this belief by providing holistic equine therapy services. She is the first certified Thermographer in South East Asia, and has championed training techniques such as remote live coaching via Pixio camera. Armed with a degree in Food Technology, she is also responsible for creating Perfect Stride’s Granola Nuggets, that many of her students know and love! 

Apart from nutrition, Nadia is a firm believer of equine biomechanics, where she incorporates science into her classical dressage routines. Her background in psychology and counselling also comes in handy, she is able to communicate and empathise with her students - helping them build confidence and resilience. Nadia's number one priority is for her students to enter and leave the arena on a sound horse + a smile on their face.

If you cannot find Nadia at the competition arena, most probably you will find her working with owners to rehabilitate their horses or baking nutritious treats for them!
